Personalized Nutrition Counseling

When your health changes, your nutrition needs may change too.

Maybe you’ve always taken pretty good care of yourself, but lately the things that used to work aren’t working the same way.

Your digestion may be more unpredictable. Your cholesterol or blood sugar may be creeping up. Your energy, appetite, or weight may be changing. Or you may simply know that something feels different and you’re not sure where to start.

Personalized nutrition care can help you understand what deserves your attention and create a clear, practical plan for moving forward.

What I Can Help With

I specialize in helping women navigate the health changes that often come with midlife, including:

Digestive Health

IBS, bloating, constipation, diarrhea, and ongoing digestive discomfort

Perimenopause & Menopause

New symptoms during perimenopause or menopause

Blood Sugar & Metabolic Health

Insulin resistance, prediabetes, type 2 diabetes, cholesterol, blood pressure, and weight changes

GLP-1 Nutrition Support

Meeting your nutrition needs, preserving muscle, supporting digestion, and building healthy eating patterns while using GLP-1 medications

Healthy Aging & Brain Health

Nutrition strategies to support strength, cognitive health, energy, and long-term well-being

While my practice focuses primarily on women navigating midlife health changes, I also work with men and younger adults seeking personalized nutrition support.

What Working Together Looks Like

Initial Nutrition Consultation | 75–90 Minutes

This is where we put the pieces together.

We’ll review your health history, current concerns, nutrition, lifestyle, medications and supplements, and available lab work. We’ll talk about what’s changed, what you’ve already tried, and what matters most to you.

From there, we’ll identify your priorities and begin building a personalized nutrition plan with practical steps you can start using right away.

Follow-Up Visits | 30–60 Minutes

Your plan isn’t set in stone.

Follow-up visits give us time to see what’s working, address challenges, review new information or labs when appropriate, and adjust your plan as your needs change.

Most clients benefit from a series of visits rather than trying to accomplish everything in one appointment.

Optional Support

Some clients may benefit from additional services as part of their nutrition care.

These services are optional and are generally self-pay.

Meal Planning Support

Personalized meal planning and recipe guidance are available for clients who would like additional structure or help putting their nutrition plan into practice.

Functional Lab Testing

When appropriate, specialty testing may provide additional information that can help guide nutrition care. Testing is never automatically required. Recommendations, benefits, limitations, and costs are discussed before any testing is ordered.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if nutrition counseling is right for me?

You don’t need to have everything figured out before scheduling. Many of my clients know something has changed but aren’t sure which changes will make the biggest difference.

We’ll look at your health history, symptoms, lifestyle, nutrition, goals, and available lab work to identify where nutrition can play a meaningful role and what makes sense to focus on first.

This depends on your health concerns, goals, and how much support you need. Most clients benefit from a series of visits rather than trying to accomplish everything in one appointment.

We’ll determine the appropriate follow-up schedule together and adjust it as needed.

No. Specialty testing and supplements are not automatically part of nutrition counseling. When I believe either may be helpful, we’ll discuss why, along with the potential benefits, limitations, and costs, before deciding whether they make sense for you.

Yes. I offer both in-person and secure telehealth appointments. If you plan to use insurance for telehealth visits, I recommend confirming that virtual nutrition counseling is covered under your plan.

Not Sure Where to Start?

If you have questions before scheduling or aren’t sure whether I’m the right fit for what you’re looking for, feel free to get in touch.

I’m happy to arrange a brief 15-minute phone call to answer questions about my services and help you determine your next step.
